My name is Chrissy Hodnett. I am a Graphic Designer.
I am a graduate from The University of Saint Francis, with a Bachelor of Art with honors in Communication Arts and Graphic Design. I have a vast understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud due to my concentration in Computer Graphics. I am confident in my abilities with Microsoft office. I have a love of working with people and interacting with people throughout all walks of life. In any job I have had, I strive to conduct myself professionally and with a smile. I find that this is the best way to inspire yourself and others. I am always multitasking. Between working on projects for different customers. Each of which is customized and requires attention to detail in order to complete to the customer’s satisfaction. I excel in jumping between different tasks to make certain whatever has top priority gets done first. I also send emails, ensure files are sent properly to print shops, and proofread documents. My most recent job is not the only one in which I have shown attention to detail and good customer service. Being versatile has always been important. While working at Michaels I worked cash register, organized the displays in the store, taught craft classes and hosted kids parties. I had to make sure that not only guests were having a good time, and finding what they needed but; that proper protocol was taken to ensure children’s and customers safety during events. The same applies to when I worked for the Arts United Center. Being a stage monitor allowed me to watch over shows as they performed to make sure the rules of the building were followed and that if anything did happen that it was reported properly. Acting as president of the Drama Club in college, and having multiple internships also allowed me to focus on my organization skills when it came to sending out mass emails, organizing event calendars, and so much more. I hold myself to a high standard in all that I do. During college I worked as night auditor at a hotel in Nappanee putting information from different payments into the computer. I also had entry experience in organizing emails and donation information for the University of Saint Francis marketing department as well as for the Fort Wayne Civic Theatre. This attention to detail, and leadership is something I have displayed throughout my work life, within my college clubs, and courses. I worked three jobs while getting my degree, I believe in dedication to what you do, and the importance of always learning. I am excited to learn new skills and implement them! |
